Available since 1986, the BAC DataMaster is still in production. In fact, many of the original units are still being used today! The BAC DataMaster was the first instrument to use a thermo-electrically cooled detector (for greater stability); no cooling fan and a low back pressure sampling system.

From its release the BAC DataMaster set new standards for reliability, repeatability and accuracy and it is still true to this date.
