Ohio Update
Regardless of what you may have heard, NPAS will continue to provide Ohio law enforcement with service on the DataMaster. There has been no interruption in local service. Temporarily, NPAS interrupted service to the Ohio State Highway Patrol after they deployed new instruments. This was done to conserve scarce replacement parts for the local offices using the DataMaster.
After adverse court decisions were handed down in various Ohio counties, DPS asked NPAS to begin doing service again. NPAS immediately agreed to do so. NPAS currently has an adequate supply of replacement parts.
These adverse court decisions did not deal with NPAS or the DataMaster, but have caused law enforcement to put the DataMasters back in service in many areas of Ohio.
We remain committed to supporting Ohio's DataMaster program.
